About the role
Health Hub Pharmacy in Grande Prairie is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support pharmacists in a busy rural setting. The role involves accurate prescription handling, inventory management, and client interaction.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure prescription information is accurate.
- Enter client information into databases.
- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation.
- Maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products.
- Process claims and bill third‑party insurers.
- Compound oral solutions, ointments and creams.
- Organize and maintain inventory.
- Maintain prescription records.
Required profile
- Accurate and detail‑oriented.
- Client‑focused with strong communication skills.
- Dependable and able to work under pressure.
- Manual dexterity and ability to stand for extended periods.
- Good judgement and teamwork orientation.
