Pharmacy Assistant

About the role

Join Rexall’s community‑focused pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Assistant. You’ll play a vital part in delivering safe, efficient prescription services while supporting the health and wellness of local customers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist with preparation, packaging, and distribution of patient prescriptions.
• Evaluate legality, interpret and input prescriptions, labels, and consent forms into the pharmacy’s computer system.
• Complete documentation such as third‑party management, reconciliation, prescription filling, printing, and invoicing.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify approaching or critical expiry dates.
• Provide cashier support and other front‑of‑store duties as needed.

Required profile

• Can‑do attitude and willingness to take on varied responsibilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Availability to work weeknights and weekends.
