Pharmacy Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Pharmacy Assistant to join our retail pharmacy teams across Canada. In this role you will support pharmacists in delivering safe, accurate medication services while providing friendly customer care.

Key responsibilities

• Fill a variety of prescriptions efficiently to maintain workflow.
• Prepare compounds, mixtures and temperature‑controlled items.
• Package blister‑pack medications and label products.
• Deliver completed prescriptions according to schedule.
• Maintain organized work stations, inventory shelves and supply levels.
• Assist with prescription information management and follow‑up on minor issues.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Positive, cooperative, team‑oriented attitude.
• High School Diploma; Pharmacy Technician Diploma is a plus.
• Experience in a retail pharmacy, hospital or long‑term‑care pharmacy is preferred.
