Pharmacy Assistant – Full-Time Float Position

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join Murphy’s Pharmacies on a full‑time float schedule, supporting multiple locations across Prince Edward Island. You will work under the supervision of pharmacists and technicians to ensure accurate prescription processing and excellent client service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and package prescriptions, input patient and prescription data, and process refill requests and third‑party billing.
• Greet customers, collect prescription information, handle cash and card transactions, and respond to over‑the‑counter inquiries.
• Receive, stock, organize medications, track expiration dates, manage returns or waste, and monitor inventory levels.
• Maintain patient records, manage faxes, and coordinate follow‑up communications.

Required profile

• Enjoy working in a team environment while delivering exceptional client care.
• Passion for helping people in a healthcare setting.
• Previous community pharmacy experience preferred.
