Pharmacist – Senior Care Pharmacy

About the role

CareRx is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join its Richmond Hill team, providing pharmacy services to long‑term care and retirement communities. Reporting to the Designated Pharmacy Manager, the Staff Pharmacist ensures prescriptions are dispensed accurately, safely, and in line with therapeutic best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Verify safe and appropriate medication administration for residents.
• Assess, dispense, and manage critical and palliative‑care prescriptions.
• Coordinate drug deliveries with the delivery team.
• Conduct medication regimen/profile reviews and document recommendations.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team and resident‑care staff to maintain high‑quality service.
• Follow provincial and federal pharmacy regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist (PharmD or equivalent) licensed to practice in Ontario.
• Experience in long‑term care, retirement, or congregate living pharmacy settings preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
