Pharmacist – Patient Focused Care

About the role

Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join its Pharmasave location in Campbell River, BC. The role focuses on delivering patient‑centered clinical services and supporting the daily operations of a busy community pharmacy.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct medication reviews, chronic disease management, and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer vaccines and immunizations, ensuring proper technique and documentation.
• Assess drug therapy appropriateness, monitor effectiveness, side effects, and interactions.
• Counsel patients on prescriptions, OTC products, and health‑related topics, covering indications, contraindications, usage, storage, and side effects.
• Supervise pharmacy students or provisional pharmacists performing restricted activities.
• Maintain compliance with federal, provincial, and regulatory pharmacy standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes.
• Assist with routine pharmacy operations and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Licensed and in good standing with the BC College of Pharmacists.
• Current injection certification.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and thrive in a team environment.
