Pharmacist (Part‑time)

About the role

The Brant Community Healthcare System (BCHS) is seeking a part‑time pharmacist to provide clinical coverage across its two hospital sites in Brantford and Paris, Ontario. Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy Services, you will join a collaborative, interdisciplinary team dedicated to high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver clinical pharmacy services to a variety of inpatient and outpatient areas.
• Ensure safe and effective medication use, including verification, dispensing, and counseling.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to medication therapy management.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and comply with regulatory standards.
• Support the pharmacy team with education, mentorship, and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist (or equivalent) licensed to practice in Ontario.
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to work in a fast‑paced hospital environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Commitment to patient safety and continuous learning.
