Pharmacist – Full‑time Pharmacy Position

About the role

Pharmaprix is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Pharmacist to join its Montreal pharmacy team. The successful candidate will deliver safe, accurate pharmaceutical care while providing personalized service to the community.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense and verify prescriptions in compliance with professional standards and Quebec regulations.
• Review patient histories, monitor for drug interactions, and counsel patients on medication use.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to optimise treatment plans.
• Guide customers on over‑the‑counter products and health‑promotion initiatives.
• Manage inventory, ensure proper medication storage, and maintain dispensing equipment.
• Contribute to a welcoming, inclusive pharmacy environment.

Required profile

• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Pharmacist in Quebec.
• Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical therapies, drug interactions and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and counseling abilities for diverse populations.
• Detail‑oriented, able to work accurately in a fast‑paced retail setting.
• Team‑player with a service‑oriented mindset and community focus.
• Proficiency in French and English is an advantage.

Required skills

• Familiarity with pharmacy dispensing systems and related technology.
• Experience in retail pharmacy operations.
