Pharmacist – Community Pharmacy

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to manage daily operations of our locally owned pharmacy. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers and health‑care providers, ensuring safe and accurate medication dispensing while delivering professional pharmacy services.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all pharmacy operations during your shift, including prescription verification, dispensing, and counseling.
• Provide clinical consultations to customers and collaborate with health‑care professionals within the circle of care.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality in accordance with federal and provincial regulations.
• Manage workflow queues, inventory levels, and controlled‑substance documentation.
• Conduct regular stock reviews, handle expired products, and coordinate orders with wholesalers.
• Ensure the pharmacy environment reflects a professional image and complies with health‑and‑safety standards.
• Document incidents and complete mandatory training and continuing education.
