Petline Claims Representative

About the role

As a Petline Claims Representative you will adjudicate pet health insurance claims, ensuring compliance with policy terms while supporting profitability goals. You will work closely with internal teams, veterinary practices, and policy holders in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess claim eligibility based on policy wordings and medical records.
• Review pre‑authorizations, Pay Practice Direct forms and determine approval or disallowance.
• Provide guidance to Insurance Advisors, Territory Managers and veterinary practices through Vetline.
• Collaborate with channel partners and policy holders to gather information for claim submissions.
• Respond to customer and partner enquiries and conduct post‑claim surveys to improve Net Promoter Score.
• Draft customer correspondence and insurance documentation.

Required profile

• Animal Health Technologist (AHT) designation or equivalent education/experience.
• Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic.
• Bilingual candidates (English and French) are welcome.
