About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Pet Store Salesperson to join our Edmonton location. The position starts part‑time with the possibility of becoming full‑time, offering hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced specialty shop.
Key responsibilities
- Operate the cash register efficiently to process sales transactions.
- Maintain computerized inventory records and generate re‑order alerts.
- Provide knowledgeable advice on pet food and accessories.
- Assist in merchandising and attractive product displays.
- Handle online sales orders and coordinate e‑commerce fulfillment.
- Greet customers, assess their needs, and recommend suitable products.
Required profile
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Energetic, hardworking, and able to stand for extended periods.
- Outgoing with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Quick learner who can handle physical tasks up to 23 kg.
- Reliable team player committed to excellent customer service.
Required skills
- Cash register operation and point‑of‑sale system usage.
- Proficiency with inventory management software for stock control.
