About the role

Compass Homecare is seeking a Mandarin‑speaking Personal Support Worker for casual, part‑time shifts across the Greater Toronto Area. The role involves delivering high‑quality personal care and support to clients in their homes, following individualized care plans.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and prepare meals while providing medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry duties, and accompany clients to appointments or community outings.
• Offer companionship, emotional support, and respite care for families, while maintaining accurate electronic documentation.
• Monitor and report changes in client health or environment, promoting a safe and inclusive care setting.

Required profile

• Fluent in Mandarin and proficient in English communication.
• Personal Support Worker certificate from a recognized Ontario program (or equivalent RPN, RN, etc.).
• Current CPR, First Aid, and NACC certifications, with a valid Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Reliable transportation and access to a mobile phone with internet.
• Negative TB test or chest X‑ray within the past 12 months.
