About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Personal Support Worker to provide home support for clients in Thornhill. The role involves assisting elderly individuals, including those with Alzheimer’s disease, with daily living activities in their own homes.
Key responsibilities
- Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, hygiene, and feeding assistance.
- Assist with regular exercise such as walking and provide companionship.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, and perform light housekeeping and laundry duties.
- Provide personal care and support to promote client independence.
Required profile
- Punctual, dependable, and reliable.
- Patient, honest, and flexible with good judgment.
- Organized, initiative‑taking, and able to handle weight between 61‑80 kg.
