About the role

Utter Morris Insurance Brokers is seeking a full‑time Personal Lines Insurance Broker to manage a portfolio of personal lines clients, provide expert advice, and grow the book of business through strong relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of personal lines clients, handling quotes, renewals, endorsements, and policy changes.
• Assess client risks, recommend appropriate coverage, and advocate with carriers when issues arise.
• Identify opportunities for additional coverage, cross‑sell, and up‑sell to strengthen the book of business.
• Report claims, guide clients through the claims process, and keep accounts organized.
• Maintain accurate data in carrier portals and Applied EPIC, and stay informed on product and market changes.

Required profile

• Active RIBO license and prior experience in personal lines brokerage.
• Strong verbal and written communication with a natural ability to build client relationships.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage changing priorities.
• Proactive problem‑solver who can work independently and as a supportive team member.
