People Operations Generalist

About the role

Centricity Research is seeking a People Operations Generalist to champion an exceptional employee experience across Canada and the United States. You will partner with the Director of People Operations to support the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to off‑boarding, while driving process efficiency and leveraging modern HR technology.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leaders and employees to deliver a seamless employee experience throughout the lifecycle.
• Provide guidance on HR policies, employee relations, benefits, leave administration, and employment practices.
• Manage core People Operations processes including onboarding, off‑boarding, employee records, HRIS administration, benefits, and compliance activities.
• Prepare workforce reports, analyze People data, and identify trends to support decision‑making.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement opportunities, optimizing workflows with HR technology, automation, and AI tools.
• Assist the Director of People Operations with audits, policy updates, and strategic projects.
• Offer backup support to Talent Acquisition during high‑volume hiring periods.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in HR or People Operations.
• Proven ability to partner with cross‑functional teams and act as a trusted HR resource.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience preparing reports and interpreting HR data.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, remote environment while maintaining high service standards.
