Pediatric School Registered Nurse

About the role

WeeCare is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide pediatric care within a school setting in Etobicoke. You will create a safe, nurturing environment for children, their families, and school staff, delivering consistent, high‑quality health support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide bladder irrigation and catheter care as needed.
• Administer and document prescribed medications in line with CNO standards.
• Monitor and safeguard medications and narcotics.
• Maintain accurate child health records and required documentation.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, ADLs, ambulation, transfers and use of adaptive aids.
• Observe and report changes in the child’s condition to parents/guardians and WeeCare.
• Offer cognitive, social, emotional and psychological support to the child and family.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment for the child’s equipment and belongings.
• Notify supervisors of safety concerns, incidents or accidents.

Required profile

• Active licence in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
• Experience working with pediatric clients.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the past six months.
• Professional Liability Insurance.
