Patient Transfer Attendant (Part‑Time) – Hanover

About the role

The Patient Transfer Attendant provides safe, courteous transport of patients using stretchers or wheelchairs between healthcare facilities, nursing homes, and private residences. This part‑time position supports the Voyago Health team in the Hanover area.

Key responsibilities

• Transport patients safely via stretcher or wheelchair to and from designated locations.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication with patients and staff.
• Maintain a calm and professional demeanor during emergencies.

Required profile

• Valid First Responder Certification OR AEMCA OR working toward a Paramedic Diploma (must have completed year 1) OR Firefighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification.
• Valid BLS certificate or CPR Level HCP.
• Valid G‑class driving licence and a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 250 lb+ using a stretcher or stair chair with a partner.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English.
• Clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector clearance.
• Current immunisation records (MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID‑19 2 doses, TB skin test within the last 12 months).
• Availability for 12‑hour floating shifts starting between 6 am‑12 pm, including every other weekend.
