About the role
Biigtigong Nishnaabeg invites community members interested in working a part‑time position as a store clerk. This role includes evening and weekend shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale system and handle financial transactions accurately.
- Provide positive customer service experiences.
- Assist with deliveries, stock movement and inventory tracking.
- Maintain store cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing shelves.
- Follow safety procedures and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Assist with tracking inventory.
- Contribute to the team in a positive, energetic, friendly manner.
Required profile
- Proven experience in customer service or a related role.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise.
- Availability for flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
