Part‑time Pharmacist – Clinical Coverage

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time pharmacist to provide clinical coverage across a variety of hospital and urgent‑care settings within the Brant Community Healthcare System. The role focuses on safe medication dispensing, patient counseling, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, without overnight or on‑call duties.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications and ensure accuracy and safety.
• Provide medication counseling and education to patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to optimise pharmacotherapy.
• Maintain pharmacy records, inventory, and compliance with provincial regulations.
• Participate in medication reconciliation and clinical rounds as needed.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist licensed to practice in Ontario.
• Availability for part‑time hours within a standard work week.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team‑oriented environment.
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
