Part‑time Pharmacist – Clinical Coverage

About the role

The Brant Community Healthcare System is seeking a part‑time pharmacist to provide clinical coverage across multiple hospital units. This position does not require overnight or on‑call shifts and offers a stable, onsite environment within our Brantford and Paris facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medications safely and accurately to inpatients and outpatients.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to optimise medication therapy.
• Maintain pharmacy records, inventory, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Support urgent‑care and transitional‑care services at The Willett and Brantford General Hospital.
• Participate in medication safety and quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist with a current Ontario license.
• Availability for part‑time, regular daytime shifts.
• Strong commitment to patient safety and interdisciplinary teamwork.

Required skills

• Medication therapy management in a hospital setting.
• Familiarity with pharmacy information systems and electronic health records.
• Knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and regulatory requirements.
