About the role
FedEx Canada is looking for a part‑time Package Handler to join its Toronto warehouse team. The role involves handling freight throughout the facility and ensuring smooth movement of packages during peak hours.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload freight, scan and sort items within the warehouse.
- Transport freight between and within facilities.
- Operate scanning equipment and follow safety procedures while handling packages up to 150 lb with appropriate equipment.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid full driver’s licence with a good driving record (Class G required).
- Ability to lift 70 lb and maneuver heavier packages using equipment.
- Availability for at least five days a week, typically Monday‑Friday evenings (17:15‑20:30) with possible extensions.
Required skills
- Proficiency in operating a PC Windows environment.
