About the role
Join Sobeys as a part‑time Meat Cutter, providing friendly service while preparing and displaying meat products for customers. The role involves early‑morning shifts, handling meat orders, and maintaining a clean department in a fast‑paced grocery environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide customer service to meet customer needs.
- Prepare meat products and merchandise the meat area.
- Maintain the meat department’s cleanliness and organization.
- Receive and process meat orders.
- Handle special order meat product requests.
- Ensure compliance with company meat standards and CFIA regulations.
- Perform administrative duties as required.
- Assist the Meat Manager and train new staff when needed.
Required profile
- Full knowledge of department operations and related skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- High School Diploma.
- Minimum 12 months of relevant experience.
