Part‑Time Inventory Clerk

About the role

Community Natural Foods is seeking a part‑time Inventory Clerk to keep our store shelves stocked, organized, and customer‑ready. You will work directly in the inventory department, ensuring product quality, proper rotation, and an inviting shopping environment.

Key responsibilities

• Handle produce and other products safely, following best‑practice and knife‑use protocols.
• Stock shelves, create product displays, and maintain proper product facing.
• Rotate items, check dates, and ensure tags are correctly displayed.
• Maintain clean, tidy work areas in both backroom and sales floor.
• Utilize CNF systems, CRS, adjustment app, shelf‑tag printer, and product‑lookup tools.
• Greet customers, answer questions, resolve complaints, and promote sales and in‑store events.

Required profile

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1‑2 years of retail experience, preferably in natural foods.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and customer‑service skills.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work under pressure.
• Positive attitude, high energy, and reliable work ethic.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRS inventory system.
• Experience using an adjustment application.
• Operation of shelf‑tag printers.
• Ability to perform product look‑ups via digital tools.
