About the role

Executive Spa Group is seeking a skilled hairstylist to join its Edmonton salon on a part‑time permanent basis. The role involves providing high‑quality hair care services while supporting the development of junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze hair and scalp condition for each client.
• Shampoo customers' hair and perform styling services.
• Suggest hairstyles that suit clients' physical features and preferences.
• Supervise other hair stylists and salon staff.
• Train staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Teach workshops to trades students and advise job applicants on employment requirements.
• Collect labour market information related to hair‑care occupations.

Required profile

• College, CEGEP or other non‑university certificate/diploma (1‑2 years) in a related program.
• Barbering Trade Certification, Hairstylist Trade Certification, or equivalent licence.
• Ability to supervise, train, and mentor staff.
• Strong client‑service orientation and communication skills.
