Part‑Time English Tutor for K‑8 Students

About the role

Oxford Learning South Surrey Grandview Heights is seeking enthusiastic part‑time tutors to support K‑8 students in English reading, writing and elementary math. The role is on‑site at the centre during after‑school, evening and Saturday hours, offering a rewarding environment where you help students build confidence and improve academic habits.

Key responsibilities

• Teach up to three students simultaneously, adapting instruction to each learner’s level.
• Follow Oxford Learning’s proprietary methodologies and philosophies.
• Complete post‑lesson notes and daily communication updates with students and parents.
• Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor and encourage a positive learning atmosphere.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or holding a comparable certification.
• Strong passion for student success and comfort teaching children from Kindergarten to Grade 8.
• Ability to multitask and manage flexible scheduling around university commitments.

Required skills

• Excellent spoken and written English communication.
