Part‑Time Cashier & Postal Clerk

About the role

Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a friendly and reliable part‑time Cashier/Postal Clerk to join the team at its Sandstone Pharmacies Crescent Heights location in Medicine Hat. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling both retail transactions and mail‑related services.

Key responsibilities

• Sort and batch incoming and outgoing mail accurately and on time.
• Assist customers with mail inquiries, stamp sales, MoneyGram services, and postage calculations.
• Process retail transactions, operate the POS system, and handle cash responsibly.
• Weigh parcels, affix correct postage, and verify address accuracy.
• Maintain store cleanliness, merchandise items, and greet customers.
• Support the Front Store Manager with additional tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Strong cash‑handling accuracy and professional demeanor.
• Previous customer‑service or retail experience preferred.
• Clear, courteous communication and ability to resolve conflicts.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift or bend as required.
• Weekend and evening availability; criminal record check required.
