Part-Time Retail Associate (Wine Store)

About the role

Jones & Company Wine Merchants is Winnipeg’s largest private wine store and the province’s hub for distinctive wines. With a team of five sommeliers, we provide education and exceptional service to wine lovers. We are seeking a part‑time retail associate to join our dynamic team of wine enthusiasts.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the highest standard of customer service, greeting and engaging every visitor.
• Assist customers with product knowledge, program details, events, classes and special offers.
• Maintain a tidy, fully stocked retail floor and perform POS transactions quickly and accurately.
• Address customer concerns professionally and collaborate with store management on escalated issues.
• Support fellow team members by sharing knowledge and helping during busy periods.

Required profile

• WSET Level 2 or 3 certification is highly recommended.
• Previous experience in the service industry preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, move frequently and lift up to 30 lb.
• Team‑player with proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
