Part-time Lecturer – Business Ethics

About the role

The Ron Joyce Centre for Business Studies at Mount Allison University seeks a part‑time lecturer to teach COMM3311A – Business Ethics during the Fall 2026 term. The course explores ethical decision‑making, stakeholder analysis, corporate social responsibility, and the impact of digital transformation on business‑society interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver weekly lectures for a 30‑student class, scheduled Tuesdays/Thursdays at 16:00.
• Prepare a detailed syllabus, reading list, assignments, and assessment criteria.
• Facilitate class discussions, case studies, and group activities on ethical issues in marketing, finance, HR, and governance.
• Maintain regular virtual or in‑person office hours to support student learning.
• Adapt delivery to hybrid or fully online formats if required.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Management or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching Business Studies or related subjects at the undergraduate university level.
• Strong commitment to high‑quality teaching and student engagement.
• Canadian citizens or permanent residents will be given priority.
