Part-Time High School Math & Science Tutor

About the role

Oxford Learning is seeking enthusiastic part‑time tutors to work in its South Surrey Learning Centre. You will support high‑school students (Grades 8‑12) in mathematics, physics and chemistry during after‑school hours, helping them build confidence and improve academic performance.

Key responsibilities

• Teach up to three students simultaneously, adapting to each learner’s level.
• Follow Oxford Learning’s proven methodologies and philosophies.
• Complete post‑lesson notes and daily communication updates for each student.
• Maintain a friendly, professional, and supportive classroom environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification preferred; university students with tutoring experience are also considered.
• Strong knowledge of Grades 8‑12 math (including Pre‑Calculus 11‑12), physics and chemistry.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage up to three students at a time.
• Willingness to undergo vulnerable sector screening and commute to the Surrey location.
