Part-Time Elementary Teacher/Tutor

About the role

Oxford Learning is seeking enthusiastic part‑time teachers/tutors to work with elementary students (Kindergarten to Grade 9) at its Simcoe learning centre. You will support students in language and math, following a pre‑planned curriculum and the company’s teaching philosophy.

Key responsibilities

• Teach up to three students simultaneously, both in‑person and online.
• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and complete post‑lesson notes.
• Provide daily communication updates to students and parents.
• Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor throughout each shift.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in a relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of the Kindergarten‑to‑Grade 9 curriculum.
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings (Mon‑Thu 4‑8 pm) and Saturday mornings (10 am‑1 pm) through the school year.
• Reliable, punctual and able to commute to the Simcoe location.
• Vulnerable sector screening clearance.
