Part-Time Cashier – Retail Store

About the role

Join RONA+ as a part‑time cashier in Edmonton, where you will be the first point of contact for customers and help ensure smooth store operations. This role blends customer service with accurate cash handling in a dynamic retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers courteously at the checkout.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the cash register system.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Prepare and balance the cash report at the end of each shift.
• Follow loss‑prevention, health, and safety policies.
• Assist with additional tasks to keep the store running efficiently.

Required profile

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and occasional outdoor work.
• Experience with cash register systems is an asset.
