About the role
We are looking for a reliable and caring individual to support a family in Montréal by managing household tasks and supervising children in the parents’ absence. This full‑time, permanent position is based in the family’s home and includes occasional travel with the family.
Key responsibilities
- Assume full responsibility for the household when parents are away, including light housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Supervise, bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, ensuring their safety and well‑being.
- Discipline children according to parents’ guidelines and support their personal hygiene and social development.
- Organize games, outings, and other activities for children of various ages.
- Maintain records of daily activities, health information, and ensure a safe environment.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in childcare or household assistance.
- Availability for day, evening, and shift work, with overtime possible.
- Fluency in English (and French if required by the family).
