Paid Social Specialist – Toronto (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Paid Social Specialist to join our fast‑moving team in downtown Toronto. The role is hybrid, with three days on‑site and two days remote, and starts as a six‑month contract with the possibility of extension. You will work closely with internal and external partners to plan, launch and optimise paid social campaigns that drive measurable business results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute paid social strategies aligned with client objectives across platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, TikTok and others.
• Manage live campaigns, monitor performance metrics, analyse data and implement optimisations to meet KPIs.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for campaign inquiries, troubleshooting and status updates.
• Prepare and present performance reports and actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with creative, analytics and external agency teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Identify potential challenges early and recommend proactive solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience planning and executing paid social campaigns.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data‑driven recommendations.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads platform.
• LinkedIn Ads platform.
• TikTok Ads platform.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with industry certifications such as Facebook Blueprint, Twitter Flight School or Snapchat (optional).
