Outside Sales Representative – Food Distribution (GTA)

About the role

The Outside Sales Representative will drive growth for C.T.S. Food Brokers across the Greater Toronto Area. This field‑based position focuses on prospecting new accounts, building relationships with chefs, buyers and store managers, and expanding existing business.

Key responsibilities

• Own and develop a sales territory within the GTA.
• Prospect new customers through cold calling, site visits, referrals and networking.
• Present and sell the company’s premium specialty product portfolio.
• Manage pricing discussions, promotions and product launches.
• Grow existing accounts and increase order volume.
• Track sales activity, pipeline and performance using CRM and digital tools.
• Collaborate with operations and customer service to ensure excellent service delivery.
• Monitor competitors and identify market opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in foodservice, CPG or distribution.
• Proven ability to prospect and close new business.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Self‑motivated, organized and comfortable working independently.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally.
• Comfortable using CRM and sales tools; bilingual English/French is an asset.

• Base salary of $60,000 (negotiable) with uncapped commission; realistic OTE $80,000‑$120,000+.
