Operator Trainee – New Graduate Plant Operator

About the role

Keyera is seeking an upcoming or recent graduate to join the Strachan Gas Plant as an Operator Trainee. This permanent position provides hands‑on experience in plant operations, safety, and process optimization within a steam‑based gas processing facility. The role works a 12‑hour rotating shift schedule and requires residence within 80 km of the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the daily operation of the Strachan Gas Plant.
• Perform operating assignments on plant equipment.
• Maintain a safe working environment within the gas processing facility.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or final‑year student eager to start a career in energy operations.
• Resides within 80 km of the Strachan Gas Plant.
• Willingness to work a 12‑hour rotating shift schedule.
• Eligibility to work in Canada.
