Operations & Supply Chain Manager

About the role

We are a fast‑growing LGBTQ+ apparel brand seeking a data‑driven Operations & Supply Chain Manager to own our end‑to‑end inventory, logistics, customer experience, and financial workflows. This high‑leverage position bridges physical logistics, front‑end CX, and day‑to‑day financial coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Translate sales forecasts into accurate factory purchase orders and optimise size runs to balance stockouts and dead‑stock.
• Act as primary liaison with international manufacturers, monitoring production timelines, quality, and landed cost components.
• Manage the 3PL partner, enforce fulfillment SLAs, and optimise carrier rates, surcharges, and inbound freight/customs processes.
• Coordinate with an external bookkeeping firm to ensure clean invoicing, receipts, payouts, and inventory valuations for monthly reconciliations.
• Oversee digital payment gateways (Shopify Payments, PayPal, Klarna/Afterpay), track fees, and handle chargebacks.
• Run the returns portal (Loop), analyse return data and feed insights back to production.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of hands‑on experience in e‑commerce operations, logistics or supply chain management.
• Strong background in apparel supply chains (size runs, fabric cycles) is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to protect profit margins against shipping inflation and fuel surcharges.
• Data‑driven mindset with excellent analytical and coordination skills.
