Operations Manager - Loss Prevention

About the role

JYSK Canada is hiring an Operations Manager in Richmond. The role protects the store's assets and minimizes losses by applying loss prevention policies and procedures, and supports the store management team in sharing company values and customer promises with the team.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all loss prevention and key control policies to reduce shrinkage
• Carry out weekly cycle counts and periodic full-store inventory counts
• Place weekly orders to keep sufficient inventory
• Follow store opening and closing procedures, including alarm checks and security walks

Required profile

• 2 years of experience in retail management and customer service
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with strong leadership skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Physical ability to walk, stand, climb, bend and lift materials; movement of goods using ladders and stock pickers is required
