Operations General Manager

About the role

The Operations General Manager will allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs, and will oversee the creation and performance of major departments and senior staff. This role ensures the organization meets its strategic objectives while maintaining efficient day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate material, human and financial resources to support company policies and programs.
• Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and senior staff positions.
• Coordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments to ensure alignment with corporate goals.
• Establish organizational objectives and formulate or approve related policies and programs.
• Represent the organization in negotiations or official functions, or delegate representatives as needed.
• Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff, delegate authority, and create optimum working conditions.

Required profile

• College/CEGEP education.
• 2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience in operations or management.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, days and weekends.
