Operating Room Nurse – Orthopedic Surgery

About the role

Lacroix Private Medicine is expanding its Laval operating room and seeks an experienced Operating Room Nurse. The role focuses on orthopedic procedures such as total hip and knee replacements, while also supporting gynecological, ENT, urological, general, bariatric, and neurosurgical cases.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for a variety of surgical specialties.
• Assist surgeons during orthopedic procedures (THR, TKR) and other operations.
• Ensure compliance with AIISOC, CSA, and PCI standards and aseptic protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high‑quality patient care.
• Document surgical activities accurately and maintain equipment readiness.

Required profile

• Completed nursing training (DEC or Bachelor of Science in Nursing) with a valid OIIQ license.
• Minimum three years of operating‑room experience, including THR/TKR.
• Current CPR and ACLS certifications.
• Fluent French and functional English.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
