About the role

Join Varsity Tutors' Live Learning Platform as an online Nursing Tutor, delivering personalized, one‑on‑one instruction to nursing students across the country. Work from home, set your own schedule, and help learners prepare for clinical rotations, NCLEX exams, and professional practice.

Key responsibilities

• Provide live, one‑on‑one tutoring sessions via the platform’s video interface.
• Explain nursing fundamentals, pharmacology, pathophysiology, and specialty areas using case studies and NCLEX‑style questions.
• Utilize the AI‑powered Tutor Copilot to generate lesson content, real‑time instructional support, and engagement tools.
• Invoice for each tutoring session and receive payment up to twice per week.
• Adapt teaching methods to match each student’s learning style and curriculum needs.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of nursing concepts, clinical reasoning, and patient safety.
• Experience guiding students through health assessments, medication calculations, and care‑plan development.
• Familiarity with ADN and BSN curricula and NCLEX preparation strategies.
• Strong communication skills and an engaging, friendly teaching style.
