About the role
The Morgan Arboretum is looking for a part‑time Office Assistant A to provide front‑office support. The role includes greeting visitors, answering telephone calls, processing payments, and assisting with events. Work is scheduled for 25 hours per week and requires availability on weekends and holidays.
Key responsibilities
- Greets visitors and provides information about the Arboretum.
- Answers telephone calls and directs inquiries appropriately.
- Collects payments and records related data.
- Prepares donation receipts and membership materials.
- Monitors and posts content to online platforms.
- Processes financial transactions and verifies emails.
- Assists with the logistical support of events.
- Ensures accurate documentation and record‑keeping.
Required profile
- High school diploma (minimum requirement).
- Ability to work weekends and holidays.
- Authorization to work in Canada and willingness to work in Quebec.
- Bilingualism in English and French is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Autonomous, resourceful, and effective communication abilities.
