Night Shift Sandblasting Operator

About the role

Join Safran Landing Systems' Mirabel plant as a Sandblasting Operator on the night shift. You will be responsible for preparing aircraft landing‑gear components for machining or plating by performing precise sandblasting operations.

Key responsibilities

• Move parts using lifting devices and install them on mounting fixtures.
• Prepare parts according to technical drawings by applying masks and tools.
• Operate robotic sandblasting equipment and specialized manual tools following technical procedures.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications and complete quality‑assurance documentation.
• Perform daily equipment self‑maintenance and conduct sand particle‑size analysis.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality and cost.

Required profile

• High school diploma (equivalence not accepted).
• Experience in manual work within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail, rigor and ability to work autonomously.
• Physical strength to handle tools and work in a full‑body encapsulated suit.
• Basic computer skills and ability to read technical drawings.
