Night Custodian

About the role

The Night Custodian joins the Naturally Pacific Resort team to ensure all public areas are clean, well‑stocked and safe during the night shift. This role supports the resort’s commitment to exceptional hospitality by maintaining a spotless environment and responding promptly to guest needs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of public spaces, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, interior window cleaning and general tidiness.
• Restock supplies such as linens, soap, paper towels and other amenities in all public areas.
• Arrange and maintain furniture after guest use and add personalized touches to enhance the guest experience.
• Maintain cleaning products, MSDS sheets and equipment in good condition and store them correctly.
• Follow proper chemical handling procedures and keep up‑to‑date knowledge of cleaning agents.
• Respond courteously to guest and staff inquiries, requests and complaints.
• Secure and record lost‑property items found in public areas.
• Report maintenance and safety hazards (e.g., burnt‑out bulbs, plumbing issues, suspicious activity) to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Rooms Manager.
• Keep accurate records of cleaned areas and perform any additional duties assigned.

Required profile

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an asset.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment with tight timeframes.
• Strong organizational skills, high energy and attention to safety.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately.
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products.
• Physical capability to reach, stretch, bend and walk for extended periods.
