Night Auditor – Hotel

About the role

We are seeking a self‑motivated Night Auditor to join our team at the Courtyard by Marriott in Mississauga. The role combines front‑desk, restaurant and bar duties during the overnight shift, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and the property is ready for the next day.

Key responsibilities

• Balance room, restaurant and bar accounts nightly and post all charges and settlements.
• Prepare and audit daily revenue reports from the front‑office system and POS, including revenue breakdowns, tips, and waiter fees.
• Run audit journals, make necessary corrections, and resolve any computer or system issues that arise during the shift.
• Enter revenue, expenses and allowances into the front‑office system to generate Guest Ledger and Daily Restaurant summaries.
• Maintain files, reset systems for the next day’s operations, and comply with attendance policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated individual able to work independently.
• Flexible availability with no set days off; weekends may be required.
• Prior night‑audit experience preferred; Marriott experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a front‑office hotel system.
• Experience using Point‑of‑Service (POS) platforms.
