New Graduate Software Developer

About the role

We are looking for motivated recent graduates to join CGI’s technology team as Software Developers. In this hybrid position you will work on modern applications, automation frameworks and cloud‑based systems while gaining hands‑on experience across the full software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain scalable applications and services.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable code following industry best practices.
• Create and execute automated and manual test cases to ensure application quality.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners and DevOps teams.
• Debug, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in development and production environments.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Support application maintenance and enhancements as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong programming knowledge in Java and/or Python.
• Proficiency with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or Sybase.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP or Azure) is a plus.

What we offer
