Neurofeedback Technician

About the role

NuVista Mental Health is seeking a part‑time Neurofeedback Technician to support the delivery of quantitative EEG (qEEG) assessments and neurofeedback training in its Toronto clinic. You will work closely with the Neurofeedback Operations Manager and clinical leads to ensure each client receives safe, evidence‑based care.

Key responsibilities

• Establish rapport with a diverse client base and prepare them for qEEG collection and neurofeedback sessions.
• Conduct individualized neurofeedback training according to clinical protocols, monitoring client responses and progress.
• Collect and accurately record qEEG assessment data for clinical interpretation.
• Maintain equipment hygiene, perform cleaning, sterilisation, and report any issues.
• Uphold confidentiality, ethical standards, and professional conduct in line with provincial and federal regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in health, neuroscience, psychology, or a related field (considered an asset).
• Familiarity with qEEG, neurofeedback, or other brain‑based therapies.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.
• High attention to detail for data collection and documentation.
• Commitment to following clinical protocols consistently.
