National Account Manager

About the role

The National Account Manager will be the primary point of contact for Waste Solutions Canada’s national and major accounts across multiple provinces. You will work closely with corporate stakeholders and site‑level leaders to ensure strategic oversight and day‑to‑day service delivery are aligned with client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with national and multi‑site clients.
• Serve as the main contact for key accounts, handling issues promptly to keep satisfaction high.
• Identify opportunities to expand services and support revenue targets.
• Assist with onboarding of new locations and accounts.
• Collaborate with internal finance, operations, and sustainability teams.
• Support contract negotiation and management.
• Resolve day‑to‑day service issues and coordinate smooth operations.
• Travel within the Vancouver region as needed.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary degree or diploma preferred.
• Industry experience in waste management or comparable account management is an asset.
• Experience managing national or large multi‑site accounts is considered an asset.
• Strong relationship‑management, negotiation and communication abilities.
• Excellent time‑management, organization and problem‑solving skills.
