Music Therapist

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Music Therapist to join our private practice, delivering client‑centered music therapy across various locations in Simcoe County. The role involves assessing patients, creating individualized treatment plans, and documenting outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate the effectiveness of counselling and patient outcomes.
• Record observations and write progress reports.
• Prepare and implement treatment plans for each patient.
• Provide music therapy sessions and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy or related field and accreditation with the appropriate professional association.
• First Aid Certificate, valid driver’s licence, and successful criminal record check.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and walking.
• Strong client focus, reliable, organized, and a team player.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic medical records systems.
• Competent use of MS Office applications.
