Mobile/Web Developer – Hybrid (Toronto)

About the role

CGI is launching a new Digital Delivery Practice and seeks a Mobile/Web Developer to join a high‑impact team serving a leading Canadian banking client. This hybrid position works from the downtown Toronto office at least three days a week and focuses on designing, building and maintaining secure, scalable mobile applications used by millions of customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Android and/or iOS applications throughout the full lifecycle.
• Collaborate with product owners, analysts and designers using JIRA and Confluence to refine requirements.
• Implement modern architectures such as MVVM, Clean Architecture and native design patterns.
• Write clean, efficient, testable code and integrate with RESTful APIs and third‑party services.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams (backend, QA, other mobile engineers) to deliver new features and continuous improvements.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and streamlined release processes.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of professional mobile development experience (Android and/or iOS) in an enterprise environment.
• Proven ability to deliver production‑ready applications.
• Experience working in Agile teams with tools such as JIRA, Confluence and Bitbucket.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and collaboration skills.
