Mobile Technician – Telecommunications

About the role

We are seeking a Mobile Technician to join Danforth Wireless in Scarborough, ON. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining telecommunications equipment for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and locate faults in telecommunications equipment and perform adjustments, replacements, or repairs.
• Inspect the operation of equipment and test installed telephone systems to identify transmission issues.
• Install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone hardware, wiring, and associated components.
• Analyze test results and modify switching systems, networks, equipment, or software as needed.
• Operate computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment.
• Complete and maintain detailed test and service reports.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation (high school) certificate.
• 1–2 years of experience in telecommunications or related field.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to distinguish colours, and manual dexterity.
• Physical capability to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel as required.
• Leadership, client focus, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, and reliability.
